Tapni Digital Business Card Integration

Thanks to Tapni your ATKey.Card NFC turns into a business card. Tap it on a phone NFC reader, share your contact and collect the one of your prospects. All directly connecting with your CRM.

Setting up Tapni on your ATKey.Card NFC is simple and immediate.

Activate Tapni Digital Business Card

Before you begin, make sure you have an ATKey.Card NFC supports Tapni
Download the Tapni App and register for a Tapni account
Launch the Tapni App, and go to Settings > My products
Click Activate Product, select NFC, and click Activate via NFC
When the Ready to Scan dialogue pops up, tap the card to the NFC area
- If fingerprints have been enrolled for the card, please tap with fingerprint-on for verification
Design your profile (ex: add contact card, links, etc)
Tap your ATKey.Card NFC on others device to share your contact

Does my ATKey.Card NFC supports the Tapni integration?

Most of our ATKey.Card NFC support the Tapni integration, but some older or special models may not. To be sure about your card you can check the serial number under the FIDO2 logo against our functions list. Otherwise use SecurityKey NFC or SecurityKey for direct confirmation.

Click "Manage" and read the card
Click " ⫶ " and "Digital Biz Card" in the top-right corner
If your card does not support the digital business card function you will not see the "Digital Biz Card" menu or will see the message "Your security key does not support this setting." after reading the card.

SecurityKey Desktop

Connect your ATKey.Card NFC with your Computer
Switch to the tab "Setting", click "Manage" and verify
If our card supports the digital business card voice will be active and with a toggle.

How do I setup a Tapni Digital Business Card on my ATKey.Card NFC?

Before you begin, make sure you have an ATKey.Card NFC supports Tapni (Check your serial number here)
Download the Tapni App and register for a Tapni account
Launch the Tapni App, and go to Settings > NFC Cards
Click Activate Product, select NFC, and click Activate via NFC

My digital business card profile is not prompting while tapping on a phone

Make sure that the card is in reach of the NFC reader on the phone for long enough (can take up to a couple of seconds) and that the phone has NFC enabled.
If you have activated biometric protection for your Tapni digital business card, make sure to authenticate with your fingerprint while tapping the card on the NFC reader.

How to enable or disable the biometric protection for my digital business card?

If your ATKey.Card NFC supports biometric digital business card protection you can decide to activate it or not.

If activated your ATKey.Card NFC will only share your contact information successful fingerprint authentication is performed.

To activate or disactivate biometric protection launch SecurityKey NFC,

find “Digital Biz Card” in the side menu
verify your fingerprint
turn the “Biometric Protection” toggle on or off
click confirm
read your card again

If the “Biometric Protection”switch does not appear, it means your card does not support this setting.

Can I change the Tapni profile connected to an ATKey.Card NFC?

Yes, if you are reassigning a card to a new user or just switching to a different profile you can easily modify your ATKey.Card NFC to show a different profile.

First, you need to disconnect the card from the Tapni account
- Launch the Tapni APP
- Go to “Settings”
- Go to “NFC Cards”
- Find the card you are trying to modify and tap "Configure"
- Copy the activation code save it.
- Click 🗑️ and confirm the disconnect
Now you need to connect the card to the new account
- Launch the Tapni app connected to the new account
- Go to “Settings”
- Go to “NFC Cards”
- Click on "Activate New"
- Use NFC or the activation code to activate the card.
- The card is connected to the new account

It shows “user not found” when opening my Tapni profile

Tapni provides a Private profile function that sometimes can cause the user card to prompt an invalid link and resolve in a "user not found" message. To resolve:

Launch the Tapni APP
Go to “Settings”
Toggle Public Profile to on
Try again to tap your card in a couple of minutes.

Can I disable the digital business card function on my ATKey.Card NFC?

Of course, if you are not planning to use the digital business card function you can disable it. you can use SecurityKey NFC or SecurityKey Desktop to deactivate the digital business card function.
