This collaboration integrates AuthenTrend’s FIDO2-enabled biometric smart cards with Cyphercor’s LoginTC Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution, delivering a world-first innovation: phishing-resistant, biometric smart card authentication directly to Windows console logins, Remote Desktop (RDP) sessions, and offline environments.  

While smart cards are standard for physical access control, allowing employees to unlock doors and restricted areas, their digital use has traditionally relied on complex, certificate-based infrastructure (PKI). This approach is secure but typically restricted to large enterprises with extensive IT resources.  

By leveraging AuthenTrend’s fingerprint-enabled FIDO2 smart cards alongside LoginTC’s expansive connector ecosystem, organizations can now bypass traditional certificate management. This breakthrough integration expands the viability of unphishable biometric security to a much broader range of organizations, seamlessly connecting physical and digital access.

• Tap to authenticate: Users tap their NFC-enabled smart cards against a reader and confirm authentication by touching the fingerprint sensor.
